Invisalign®
Fort Worth, TX

A hand holding invisalign aligners at HomeTown Dental at Alliance.Invisalign is a procedure for straightening your teeth by virtually invisible means. Advanced 3D computer imaging technology is used by HomeTown Dental at Alliance to draw a complete map of the teeth, allowing patients to view the before and after pictures of what their smile could look like before beginning treatment. After this, clear aligners are developed according to the patient’s exact teeth structure and position, which will help in lifting up the teeth one after the other. After the initial procedure, a temporary aligner is worn for two weeks while we wait for the permanent aligners to be made at our laboratory. After two weeks, the temporary aligner is removed, and the longer-lasting one is worn by the patient.

Benefits of Invisalign

Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible; the treatment is comfortable, and the desired look is achieved without social discomfort. The aligners are removable, allowing the patients to eat and drink with ease. Aligners can also be removed while brushing or flossing teeth to make daily oral care a simple task. However, good oral dental hygiene must be maintained throughout the treatment. Invisalign is a great alternative to metal and wire braces which can cause complications in some patients. Another great advantage of the treatment is that patients can view their results beforehand before deciding to go ahead with the treatment.

How Much Does This Treatment Cost?

The cost of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your teeth structure and other medical and non-medical conditions. However, the cost of Invisalign treatment is comparable to that of general braces treatment. The complete cost, though, also varies from one Invisalign provider to another. Generally, the cost of the treatment lies between 3,000 to 5,000 dollars depending on the course of treatment.

How Does Invisalign Work?

Invisalign helps the teeth by moving the teeth to the desired perfect position. How long it takes for this movement to occur is also considered before starting, and our team will regularly monitor progress to ensure you are meeting milestones. This helps in delivering the proper amount of force for a particular period of time to make your aligner the most comfortable it can be. Our team will also put together a comprehensive treatment plan before beginning to include a total health assessment to get the most benefit out of the treatment.

Is Invisalign Treatment Painful?

Minor discomfort is expected for a few days out of the treatment; however, this is temporary. This usually occurs during a new stage of aligner implementation. This mainly occurs due to the pressure applied while setting the aligner at a new stage on the different teeth. If discomfort continues, this could be indicative that a tooth is not moving as it is supposed to, and you should come in to speak with one of our team members immediately so that we can address any issues early before they arise into complications.
